I have a problem to set the values of entries, like U, epsilon and so on. No matter what kind of data I input, I am alway told that "number xxx not of correct type". So eachtime I have to refer to "nedit xxx" to type the values. Can anyone explain me how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

This is in FoamX? Check this site for LANG settings for java. (some languages use ',', some use '.' in floating point numbers)

Yes, this problem took place when I was editting within FoamX. Even I didn't change anything but only click on the entry field, it will complain the same as I reset the value. That would be the java problem. Could you please give me more information? Thanks!

Thanks for your tips. Yes, the problem originates from 'LANG', actually the language setting. Now I solved it by simply typing command "export LANG=en_EN". It works properly now. Thanks again!
