Hello,

can someone please explain me, how I can find what the abbreviations for the initial variables according to different solvers mean?

Thanks a lot,
Anja

We don't have a list at the moment. Some will be explained in the tutorials, but the best thing to do is guess (and maybe make a list for the rest of us to see/correct/comment on on the Wiki site).

The general idea is that the names should be "obvious" and consistent across all applications as much as possible.

A table with the VERY OBVIOUS fields can be found at

http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Uguide_table_of _fields

Anyone who knows some more is welcome to add them to the table.
