There is an option -blockTopol
There is an option -blockTopology to blockMesh which will dump out the block points. You can visualize the resulting .obj files with e.g. javaview or run objToVTK and use paraview. The node numbering in either program will be the same as the blockMesh block points. I find this is quite useful for multiblock meshes.

You can also use 3rd party meshers and convert the results to foam format using the converters found in:
OpenFOAM-1.1/applications/utilities/mesh/conversion/ There are quite a lot of formats to choose from. |

I have created the .obj file with blockMesh -blockTopology, then I have created the VTK file with objtoVTK and I have a problem because I can not visualize the VTK file with paraview. I get the message "Could not find an appropiate reader for this file. Would you like to manually select the reader for this vile"? I have trid with some of the list, but it does not seem ok...
