Hallo,
my configuration is the following: I want to simulate a convergent-divergent nozzle with M=1 in the throat and a shock in the divergent part of the nozzle. The flow in laminar. I have an inlet at the left side and an outlet at the right side. I want to initiallize the flow via a pressure difference between inlet and outlet. At the inlet there'll be just inflow, however, at the outlet it is likely to occur some reversed flow. This is okay for me. So far so good, my problem is how to set the boundary conditions. Pressure: I'm pretty sure that I have to use 'fixedValue' at the inlet and at the outlet, since I want to initialize the flow via a pressure difference.Velocity: -Inlet: However, for the velocity at the inlet I found several BCs which could fit to my case; these are: 'zeroGradient', 'outletInlet', 'pressureInletVelocity', 'pressureInletOutletVelocity'Do you have any suggestion which BCs for the velocity at inlet/outlet are most suitable for my configuration? Thanks for reading this thread. Cheers, Julian
