patchTool, is there a newer alternative?
 
Hi,

the 'patchTool' utility seems to have been discontinued in the newer versions of OF.

Was it replaced by some other utility?

Why was it stopped? Was it just lack of interest?

It was java, thus many similar issues to the FoamX annoyances.

That seems fair enough,

Do you know if there is some third-party program that people are using in its place? Or if there is anything equivalent in OF-1.5-1.6?

Maybe http://www.discretizer.org/ might do some of the job - I don't know.
