Rotating sphere in a turbulent flow

Dear Foamers. My apologies if this topic has been covered. I did several searches and could not find a definate answer to my problem.

I am modelling a rotating sphere in a 3D incompressible turbulent flow (water) using pimpleFoam.

So far I have been using rotatingWallVelocity as a BC for my sphere and it is working fine.

What I don't like about this is that I have to specify a fixed rotation speed. I would much rather have the flow turn my sphere for me. I have been looking into movingWallVelocity but I am not sure if it is the right way to go since I have the following conditions:

-the sphere is fixed around the origin, i.e. the body should not move in relation to the frame of reference
-it has a fixed axis of rotation, i.e. it should not be able to tilt

Is it possible to get OpenFOAM to do this? If so I would be very thankful if someone could point me in the right direction.
