I have searched the forums but haven't found anything so I created this thread.
I have a circular inlet at a base of a cylinder blocked in its centre. (see pic1) I want to have a flow enter the inlet at a constant angle of 45 degrees (see pic2) I am not sure how I can specify the angle in OpenFOAM. I have tried breaking down the inlet velocity in x, y, z vectors but cannot maintain the 45degree angle around the inlet. e.g. type fixedValue; value uniform (x y z); Do I have to implement my own BC? maybe use groovyBC? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks. |
