Since when I started to work with openFOAM, I have been uncomfortable with the structure of directory for cases. The problem is that time directories are in the same directory as that constant, system etc are located in. So, when you run a case and then there is a lot of time directories, things get messy. I think it is more beautiful to have a runtime directory and all the time directory are placed there.

As an other suggestion, appending number of time step to the beginning of time directory name maybe a good idea because some users may need to find data in a certain time step.

Does anybody agree with these suggestions?
