Dear all,
I'm trying to implement a dynamic mesh deformation depending of the flow solution. For example: a wall has to be deformed depending of a variable (coming from the flow solution) so that its faces/points move from the variable quantity in the local normal direction. In a way, it is similar to a deposition process.

After a short literature review, I've found that there is no explicit procedure to do so. And I'm actually a bit confused. In OF 2.1, there are many class in dynamicFvMesh to change the mesh but not any thing clear for a free deforming mesh.

I've found an "example" through the Free-rising air bubble : http://www.foamcfd.org/Nabla/main/mainhe78.html
There is also the case of the stress foam :http://www.foamcfd.org/Nabla/main/ma....html#fracture However, the solver are from OF 1.6 and after watching the code, it seems that many things have changed in OF 2.1. For the original source code of OF 1.5 solvers : ftp://ftp.ux.uis.no/uis/x/OpenFOAM/O...tions/solvers/

From your point of view, do you think that my "code" has to be fully included in my solver or does it have to be in my case folder (constant/dynamicMeshDict).

Do you have any experience that might help me ?

Thx in advance.
