Sliding mesh for twoPhaseEulerFoam

Hi, for me is the first post and i'm an openFOAM beginner so i hope to be the more clear as possible.
I'm trying to simulate a gas miquid mixind in a stirred tank.
I think i should use twoPhaseEulerFoam solver to account for the liquid and the dispersed phase (air) hydrodynamics.
The tank is stirred by an impeller and i have to account for the intrinsic unsteadyness of the flow field.
So i'm looking for something like twoPhaseEulerFoam coupled with the sliding mesh approach.
Does it already exist and i'm not able to find it, or such kind of solver has to be implemented yet?

Any help would be very appreciated, thank you very much in advance!

Hi guys,
i've gone forward a few adding the functions makeAbsolute, makeRelative to the original twoPhaseEulerFoam. I've inspired myself with the pimpleDyMFoam.C source code. My code seems to run. I haven't inserted in my source code the "correctPhi" routine, because i've read in a post by bviera " Developing a rho PimpleDyMFoam solver" that the correctPhi is helpful in the case of mesh deforming. I've to face a sliding mesh situation i.e the rotation of an impeller in the vessel, so i think i've not to deal with a mesh deformation. Am i wright??

Please help me!!!

kind regards

Lapo

Why dont you use MRF? Regarding to twoPhaseEulerDyMFoam. Alberto may have successful code it.~ Thats all what I know.

BTW, Im simulating stirredtank too. In two-fluid model hex mesh can get far better result than tet in my cases.

Hello yue,
Do you have more clues about twoPhaseEulerDyMFoam? I need to implement a dynamic mesh on twoPhaseEulerFoam.
Best,
Yu

Hi YUGU,

I am also interested by this solver, did you manage to code it?

Thanks in advance
