Hi Foarmers,
I'm new in openFoam and I have a Question about correctPhi....
I dont realy dont what happens in this header.. why use correctPhi?what is Pcorr?
anybody have information about this header or have user guide pdf about this, i will be gratfull provide for me....

If you don't have a boundary condition controlling the pressure reference, i.e. all of your boundaries are zero gradient on pressure, then it will make sure the total inflow and outflow of mass is conserved.

By the way, the same function, adjustPhi, is called in pEqn.H as well (compare pEqn.H with correctPhi.H).

Nope,

Bernhard's answer is quite challenging to me, adjustphi() perform the functino as he said. But correctPhi() in interFoam can be neglected, pcorr is important for interDyMFoam. I guess the reason to include correctPhi() in interFoam is for consistent with interDyMFoam when you start your simulation with interDyMFoam and want to continue your simulation with interFoam.

Can you help me? I want to read "nu" with interFoam and create a field of mixture viscosity. I problem is posted here:
