Hello All,

I want to modify the Boundary Condition for the heat transfer in solver buoyantSimpleFoam. Instead of giving a fixed temperature or a fixed heatflux (already possible in OF), I would like to calculate my surface temperature based on conditions outside of my computational domain, ( like ambient temperature/ thermal conductivity with certain thickness of wall/ outside temperature ) which can be modelled by a simple algebraic equation.

Where in the code will I be able to implement this modification? Will I have to recompile the entire installation?

akidess will become famous soon enough
In general, you *never* have to recompile your entire installation as OpenFOAM is quite modular. As for this specific problem, I think groovyBC (it's part of swak4Foam) will help you on your way.
