Hi everybody ,
I am quite new to OpenFOAM and now i am trying to simulate a rotating device . I have used MRFInterFoam solver so far for constant angular velocity but now i want the velocity to be a function of time .
I did a tutorial on how to implement a new boundary condition (inlet velocity) , but now i want to be able to access MRFInterFoam files and change the angular velocity .
Can anyone help me with this ? a step by step tutorial would be greatly appreciated ,

Have you tried with groovyBC (http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/groovyBC) ? It might be so easy without coding.

You may be able to avoid programming by giving a table for omega as a function of time in the MRFProperties dict.

Thanks everybody for your answers , I used polynomial type for my simulation and my problem is solved now
