Hello together,

I am thinking about the implementation of a new Lagrangian patch interaction. I would like to implement an interaction that results in a splash of the impinged droplets into very small droplets. Currently there are only rebound, stick, escape and combinations of them available as Lagrangian patch interactions.

Additionally there is a splash option implemented in conjunction with the wallfilm model. But this model demands for a single cell layer and treats the film as a liquid.

Does anybody of you have any experience in implementing new Lagrangian patch interactions? Or can you give me a feeling about the effort for implement an interaction that results in a splash of the impinged droplets.

Thanks in advance and kind regards.
Chrisi
