recognize laminar, transitional flow and turbulence during solving

hello everyone,
Has anyone ever tried to recognize laminar, transitional flow and turbulence parts in one case during the process of solving? i wanna use different flow type to different flow parts when the casing is running, is that sounds impossible? thanks for any reply |
