sampleDict >> keyword for magnitude of U

just I little question... I desire to plot U profile along a line... Then I used sampleDict.. But.. I think "U" in the sampleDict file means Ux.. what is the simbol for magnitude of U?

Have not tried it myself but I think you can run the magU utility first and then output the magnitude of U with the sample utility.

Sample can only process fields that exist, it does not compute fields. U is a vector field. To get the magnitude, run "foamCalc mag U".
