[PyFoam] pyFoamPVSnapshot problem

Dear Foamers,

I have encounter a problem when I try to execute the following command line:

pyFoamPVSnapshot.py --time=1e-06 --state=default.pvsm .

The error message:

Error in /usr/local/bin/pyFoamPVSnapshot.py : FatalError in PyFoam: 'PyFoam FATAL ERROR on line 85 of file /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/PyFoam/Paraview/StateFile.py: Wrong number of Readers in State-File. Need 1 but got 0'

Any help would be appreciated.

I did not bother to solve the issue but I can offer a workaround. Please open the case with:

Code:

paraview

instead of

Code:

paraFoam

and save the statefile accordingly (e.g. default.pvsm).

Now do:

Code:

pyFoamPVSnapshot.py . --all-times --state=default.pvsm --magnification=1

This way, the script should be able to properly read the statefile.
