I am wondering how easy it would be to implement a 0-equation algebraic model into Openfoam such as the Baldwin-Lomax model? Is it something not too taxing for myself to do or would it be quite an endeavor? Or am I missing something and there are models like this already available in Openfoam.

You might use this tutorial:
http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...lenceModel.pdf OpenFOAM is an object oriented code which means it is supposed to be easy to develop it (as many have done). However you need a basic understanding of c++ and object oriented features. Following this link I mentioned can get you through it for the moment I think. |
