Hi All

I am trying to implement a point motion displacement, by projecting a patch onto an stl.
I am using the snake river tutorial as my basis.
I also have tow zones connected through and AMI patch and when i start the projection the AMI patches also distort.
I have attached images of the end mesh and the start. Also in attachment is the pointDisplacement file.
The idea is to project the curved section of my cut out on to a flat surface. At the start you see the original curve and the preceeding image is mid way through projection. The box are the patches connected to the curve. wedge is the patch that is being projected.
I set my AMI boundary condition to fixedValue in the pointDisplacement file but it had no effect.
Any tips on how to ensure no deformation on the AMI interface?
I was told it was because openFOAM sees the AMI patches as internal patches, but if thats the case why do i need to specify their condition in the boundary file?
