Dear Foamers,

I extract SGS viscosity from class LESModel and write it but it is not updated during solution, i.e. a constant field is returned. However, when I extract the same quantity from class turbulenceModel the values are updated and everythings work fine.

Why there is difference between these methods?! Why class LESModel returns a constant field of nuSgs?!

I am using version 2.3.1

Thanks,
Syavash

Hi,

I had a similar problem some time ago with other variables. Could you explain a bit more your problem? In that way maybe we can help you better.

If I remember well, I had the problem that the value of my variable was not changing since my time t=0. It dependes on how you call the variable. Sorry for not saying more, but I have to remind it and it was a long time ago.
