ousoweak is on a distinguished road
hi,all

I am new to OpenFoam programming.
I want to get velocity vector at the outer edge of the boundary layer.
In the C++ code of nutSpladingWallFunction ,I notice that using "turbModel.U()" can enable me to acess the velocity field,but I have no idea what to do next.

Can anyone help me?thanks

Yiming

code in nutSpladingWallFunctionFvPatchScalarField.C
const label patchi = patch().index();

const turbulenceModel& turbModel = db().lookupObject<turbulenceModel>
(
IOobject::groupName
(
turbulenceModel:ropertiesName,
internalField().group()
)
);
const fvPatchVectorField& Uw = turbModel.U().boundaryField()[patchi];
const scalarField magGradU(mag(Uw.snGrad()));
const tmp<scalarField> tnuw = turbModel.nu(patchi);
const scalarField& nuw = tnuw();
