SRFSimpleFoam and Turbulence Models

Dear all,

I have a doubt about turbulence model initialization in SRFSimpleFoam. In createFields.H the turbulence model is initialized by using "phi" and "U" fields, that is relative fluxes and absolute velocities respectively.

What I do not understand is why relative fluxes are used: according to the adoption of absolute velocities (they are justified by the presence of gradient and divergence in the source terms, as already said in another thread), I would expect the adoption of absolute fluxes for the treatment of non linear transport terms.

Could anyone explain this choice, please?

I thank you a lot
