Current status of IBM in OpenFOAM

Hi,

I am new to OpenFOAM and I have been reading some posts on IBM in OpenFOAM?

I would like to know as of now, what is the current status of IBM in OpenFOAM?

1. Can it run in parallel, both in the solver and ibm body pre-processing?

2. Does it work with FSI problem?

3. Is IBM already in OpenFOAM 4 or OpenFOAM extend? Or is it a separate download?

4. I have an in-house IBM NS solver working in parallel and I wonder it serves any purpose if I tried to add my routine and algorithm into OpenFOAM.

Thanks in advance.

IBM is implemented in foam extend. Some example solvers are in place.

2. works together with turbulence models

will try some egs to see if I can get some answers.
