Hello,
i want to program a new solver that respects temperature-dependent density. That solver is for laminar, steady-state simulations. What i did up to now: I enhanced the simpleFoam solver with temperature and I added a transportmodel. This solver is for polymermelt (non-newtonian liquid). Some plastic types have a stronger temperature dependent density when processed. Some have lighter. I want to respect that behaviour. I thought about using rhoSimpleFoam as a Basis, but isn't that solver for newtonian fluids (e.g. gases) only? If yes, where to get startet? Thanks in advance, fanta |
