Nusselt number calc for porouszone

Hi foamers,

I need to calculate local Nusselt number variation along the surface length of porous square cylinder(PisoFoam/laminar/ porusblockage). I dont know how ,really need some help .Guide me step by step procedure for coding and Nusselt calc on porous zones.

Can't you just use the Paraview calculator to achieve this?

Hi, how would you perform with paraview? Can you show in simple steps?

hi,
Nusselt number can be calculated using ParaView in the following steps

load the case and run till last iteration
calculate scalar gradient using compute derivatives
calculate Nusselt number using calculator
