wmake *** missing separator. Stop.

Hello everyone,

I'm pretty new to development in openFoam so thanks in advance for any help.

I'm trying to make a simple program to read dictionaries however when I run wmake it produces the error

Quote:

Make/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/files:1: *** missing separator. Stop.

The "files" file in my Make directory looks like this

readDic.cpp
EXE = readDic

I have both openFoam 9 and openFoam2106 installed so maybe there is a conflict there, but I am not sure, and I wouldn't think that should be an issue for wmake at least.
