Hi All,

rhoCentralFoam first solves an explicit predictor step (inviscid equations) and then corrects it by way of an implicit corrector step (viscous equations).

The inviscid equations are solved for density-weighted fields rho, rho*U, rho*E. This should have some advantages (w.r.t. solving for rho, U, E) in terms of "shock capturing".

Could anyone show these advantages? As far as I know, these advantages could be related to quantities (U, E) conservation issues across shock waves, but that's all I know.
Thanks in advance,

Tommy
