The production of kinetic energy near wall cell is referred by which paper?

G0[celli] +=
w
*(nutw[facei] + nuw[facei])
*magGradUw[facei]
*Cmu25*sqrt(k[celli])
/(kappa_*y[facei]);

I found Spalding's formula is not the same as above (Pk =Cmu^0.25*Utau^2*U/y). Anybody knows this issue?

You can find the answer here: Wall functions - questions about implementation

most of the time papers do not equate to the actual implementations. some code involve heuristic changes based on extensive number of tests in various scenarios.

Yes. I am confused that the difference between those two methods for calculating Gk which I found in one paper. It seems that they are consistent with each other. But after I used those two formula, which leads to different results.
