Hi,
I have a volVectorField source term in my momentum equation generated by taking integral over all the computational meshes. I initialize this field before the time loop. The source term is fixed in position. So far the implementation works as expected and gives expected results. But now I would like to move this source term with fixed velocity (say 1 mm/s) in positive x-axis. I could calculate and update this field inside time loop at each time step. But calculating at each time step is computationally very expensive. The value of this source term do not significantly change even if I calculate it at each time step so they can be considered constant during simulation. Now all I want is to update the position of this field while assuming the whole field moves at a constant speed in positive x-axis. Your suggestions are appereciated. Best regards, |
