Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I just started using OpenFoam 7. I'm trying to insert the heat balance equation in the InterFoam solver following a guide related to OpenFoam 2.3. The new solver compiles and when I run the test simulation (DamBreak) it doesn't give any problems. When I go to see the temperature results on Paraview I notice completely wrong results. I installed openfoam version 2.3 and there the results make sense. By studying both codes a bit and adapting the code differences, I realized that the biggest difference is in the alphaEqn.H file. On of 7 this file I got it from the VOF folder (together with all the others in this folder), I pasted it in the folder of my new solver and then add the term rhoCpPhi. On of 2.3 instead this file was already present in the solver folder. Would someone be able to help me by giving me some advice?
Thanks to those who will help me.
