Hi All,
I am wondering if there any possibility to have access to the cells density value and making change in them? I wanna change the density value in some specific cells that I know their IDs. How is this possible?
Cheers,
Mohammad

Hello Mohammad,

Can you please elaborate upon the meaning of cell density? Do you wish to refine the mesh in certain areas or near a certain edge?

Regards, Lasse

Hi Lasse,
I mean the density value, \rho, in computational cell. I want to change the density value in some specific cell in a part of my solver.

Hello Mohammed,
I would look into fvOptions and fixedValueConstrain.
This can be applied to a cellZone or just cells with certain id's by specifying all cells and then get the cell id which is needed. Let me know if you need further assistance.
Regards Lasse
