how to aceess patch field when programming boundary condition?

I just started OpenFOAM programming. Now I have a simple question: how to aceess patch field when programming boundary condition? Specifically, I want to access alpha patch field on the wall when programing a dynamic theta boundary condiyion. I think this just likes how to access patch velocity field when programming U boundary condition.
