Dear Foamers,
I’m new to the forum—please pardon any formatting issues. I’ve modified pimpleFoam to include heat transfer for forced convection, and now I’m trying to extend it to mixed convection by adding a buoyancy term (βg(T − T_ref)) in the UEqn file. The case runs, but I’m getting non-physical results for even a simple flow over a cylinder case. I know there are built-in solvers for this, but I’d like to learn by building it myself. Any guidance would be sincerely appreciated. I’ve attached the solver files. Warm regards. |
