Dear OpenFoam Users,
please forgive if I've done something wrong - this is my first time on Forum so I did not know if I should I continue an old thread from 2016 or start a new one - I decided for the 2nd option. I'm trying to set up a simulation domain consisting of several sub-domains (geometry and mesh done in Salome and imported to OpenFoam). Two sub-domains I have to connect and decided to do that by cyclicAMI - though those sub-domains will be stationary - just have to connect / interpolate the meshes as the flow will pass those 2 sub-domains. After typing moveDynamicMesh - checkAMI I get the following information as shown below. I have tried to increase the matchTolerance value in createPatchDict (maybe it was set to small and the 2 meshes could not see each other) - but without any results. I've checked the normals at those 2 domains - in both cases show outside of the 2 sub-domains so it seems to be consistent. The mesh sizes at those 2 sub-domains also do not differ much. I've no idea why the target has such enormous dimensions and I do not know what to do to solve that problem so any suggestions / help are most welcome. Thank you in advance.
