Hi,
I am confused about something I read in TORO's book (Riemann Solvers chapter 5 figure 5.3). The same discontinuity has been solved by two methods i.e. Lax Wendroff method and Beam Warming method.
The oscillations are observed in both in the same pattern with reverse (or mirror) position.
I want to know the basic reason behind this difference.
