i work with openfoam 1.5 and i need to use fsi "Fluid Structure Interaction"solver and cant find it
how can install it and use it?

There is icoFsiFoam in OpenFOAM-1.6-ext found at $FOAM_SOLVERS/stressAnalysis/icoFsiFoam.

You can find quite a bit on FSI if you search the forum.

i havn't opneFoam 1.6 i just have 1.5,and 2.00
is there any way to insltall it?

If you search the forum, you will find a lot of information on FSI.

As far as I know you must use the Extend version of OpenFOAM i.e. OpenFOAM-1.6-ext

the Slax Live Image was for the OpenFoam workshop (4th) in Montreal (2009) if I am not mistaken.
the last Openfoam Workshop (6th) (2011)was in Penn State and the Image (Ubuntu LTS image) that was made for this workshop can still be downloaded

this Image contains Openfoam 1.6-extend => so you have FSI stuff is on that Live-Image.

Do you want to run a CFD (Openfoam) <=> FEM (Openfoam) FSI Simulation
or a CFD (Openfoam) <=> FEM (not Openfoam(lets say Calculix or something else) FSI Simulation?
Do you use GGI to calculate on non conforming meshes?
