Dear Foamers,
I'm new to OpenFoam and I'm trying to simulate a simple case. It is basically a pipe, with the outer and inner walls defined by cylinders as it shown on the pictures. I generated the mesh through ICEMCFD, and then converted it to Foam. I am defining the inlet velocity with cylindricalInletVelocity, and I am also using this to defining the velocity in the outer portion the same way. I am defining the outlet as total pressure constant. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, the simulation seems to be running smoothly but after a some time steps the velocity near the outlet starts to increase exponentially. The case folder is on the link below, as are some pictures which explain the problem better. Came some one please take a look to see if it is possible to find a noob error? Thanks for the help, Bruno https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vf3yzdkveozqmn0/Oc0Q6_dz0J |
