Artificial high velocity with dieselFoam
I'm using a fixed velocity inlet boundary condition with k-epsilon model to simulate a steady spray combustion. I noticed that the cells adjacent to the boundary suddenly give a higher velocity by a factor of 2 compare to the inlet velocity magnitude when I reduce the cell size. The velocity gets higher as I keep reducing the cell size. The same symptom is not seen in the non-reacting case.
Anyone has any idea why it happen?
