Hello! Thanks for this wonderful utility Niels.
I am a newcomer to OpenFoam and Waves2Foam and am having trouble trying to get wave gauge and probe data in the WaveFlume tutorial. I have done several tutorials without post process and they run fine. But following instructions from the manual section 3.1.1.2 Output: after running waveGaugesNProbes, I copy the text from < >control dict into the system folder file control dict for run time sampling and I copy the < >surfaceElevationDict file into the system file and try to run command surfaceElevation however the command is not found. I have located surfaceElevation.C though in waves2Foam/applications/utilities/postProcessing I tried running in the tutorials folder as well as updating waves2foam but to no avail. Maybe I try recompiling? Thanks for any insight into this! Eric |

Hi Eric,
Notice that wave gauges are not supported on all versions of OpenFoam (see section 1.3 in the manual). I have received a solution from Scott Brown and collaborators from Uni. of Plymouth, but I still need to put the code into waves2Foam. Kind regards Niels
