Soot/radiation model in FireFOAM

Morning everyone.

I am wondering if anyone here is also interested in the fireFoam solver in OpenFOAM. In the latest version, the soot/radiation sub-model has been coupled in. I want to figure out how it works after taking soot into consideration. But when I installed the fireFoam 1.7_0.4 and looked into the greyMeanAbsorptionemissionSoot.C file, it was almost the same to the original radiation model in the former verion named greyMeanAbsorptionEmission.C. Can someone give me some tips on it.

Thank you in advance.

I share the same interest too, the fireFoam solver looks very versatile, but it has been hard to learn all its capabilities.

hello Chao,

Could you get any method for soot radiation? I have the same interest, please share.

Thanks.
