documentation of LES model: oneeqeddy

I use the LES model oneeqeddy and I have a few questions:

Where can I find the definition of the equations solved by the model? I had a look at the C++ documentation and Eugenes thesis. I presume it is the Yoshizawa-model (equation 3.17 in Eugenes thesis). Can someone confirm this?

What is the the applied filter width? Is it simply the cell width or is there a relation to a constant or a model?

What is the filter method? I did not choose any in my LESproperties-dict.

How is the subgrid scale energy calculated?

Thank you for your help!!

Hi MacGyver

Check the paper from Fureby

A comparative study of subgrid scale models in homogeneous isotropic turbulence

most of the sgs models used in OpenFOAM are described there.

In OF you use filtering just in dynamic models.
There is a transport equation for a sgs kinetic energy which is implemented in the model, that's why it is called one equation.

Dejan
