Hi guys,

if I understood the WIKI right, the IOobject class can be used to read - write dictionaries or fields.

Can single scalars or vectors be automatically written in the same manner? Or do one have to create a dictionaries to store the values there?

The next questions is, classes like dimensionedScalar or dimensionedVector have no .oldTime() members. Does it mean one have to manually create another scalar and manually store the old time step values? Or is there a work around?

Best regards,
Illya
