Hi OF Users!
I recentely compiled the OpenFOAM-2.1.x on two types of processor. Machine 1 Dell Laptop: Intel i7-2670QM CPU Machine 2 HPC Cluster: AMD Opteron Processor 2376 Everything seemed fine until I tried the following. 1. Run a case using rhoCentralFoam on Machine 2 2. Download the case to Machine 1 3. Try to continue the run on Machine 1. I get this error. Code:
--> FOAM FATAL ERROR: Attempt to cast type N4Foam5token8CompoundINS_4ListIdEEEE to type N4Foam5token8CompoundINS_4ListINS_6VectorIdEEEEEE From function dynamicCast<To>(From&) in file /home/jlight/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.1.x/src/OpenFOAM/lnInclude/typeInfo.H at line 93. FOAM aborting I used older version of OF (1.7.1 and 2.0.0) without the march=native option and never had this issue. Cheers! Nishit |
