Hello,
I have a simple test case with 3 solid, and I am trying to solve a simple heat conduction inside those three solids. The third solid should not have any influence for now (see figure) If I use Code:
type compressible::turbulentTemperatureCoupledBaffleMixed;
value uniform 300;
neighbourFieldName T;
K solidThermo;
KName none;
My problem is to introduce an additional resistance, for example a contact resistance between two solids. I was planning on using the boundary condition fixedGradient, but I have an error when I tried to use such a boundary condition between two solids. Code:
Attempt to cast type fixedGradient to type compressible::turbulentTemperatureCoupledBaffleMixed ![]() Thanks in advance for your help, Romain |

Hi,
I am a newbie in OF and I am also facing a problem similar to the one Romain posted. My question: is it possible to set a contact resistance between two solids? (I am using the chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam solver). Thank you in advance for your answer. Ciao. |
