hi Foamers!
According to this tutorial: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Ho...ure_to_icoFoam I proceed exectly as the tutorial told. but the wmake said: /usr/bin/ld: cannot open output file /opt/openfoam211/platforms/linuxGccDPOpt/bin/my_icoFoam: Permission denied how can I handle that?Thanks very much. sorry I have handle that .~ ~~~~~~~ Last edited by sharonyue; September 16, 2012 at 23:57. |

Hi,
the solver "my_icoFoam" should be located in the user-directory of OpenFOAM, /home/<user>/OpenFoam/<user>-<version>/applications/, and you should be sure, that you have renamed or changed all necessary files, especially the file Make/files. regards treima |
