I'm trying to calculate the heat transfer through an enclosure similar to the buoyantCavity tutorial, but my results do not correlate well with literature. For example, the Nusselt number for an argon filled 1m x 1m x 12.7mm cavity with a dT of 29.1 degrees should be about 1.3 according to Wright ( www.solarme.uwaterloo.ca/DownloadPDFs/ASHcornScan_acw.pdf), but I'm getting Nu = 1.1 with the attached model. Successive grid refinements don't significantly change the answer I'm getting. I think my problem is either with the BCs or the grid design, but nothing I try seems to help. Any suggestions for improving the correlation would be greatly appreciated.
