Hi,
I have OF 2.1.1 installed on my machine today I was trying to use dynOneEqEddy model and was NOT able to find it.
The name is still there included for compressible LESModels in openfoam, but its no more available in 2.1.1. Instead you can find homogeneousDynOneEqEddy Model, I would like to ask if there are any differences between these two?
It would be of great help if someone could point that out.

Regards,
Awais

Hi Awais,

homogeneousDynOneEqEddy is similar to the dynOneEqEddy. In the .C files you can see that constant ck is defined as dimensionedScalar, and in the both models is calculated on the same way. There is just small difference in coding..
I'm using OF 2.1.x and now I see that
dynOneEqEddy in 2.1.x is actually the locDynOneEqEddy in 1.7.1 (and probably also in 2.something)... I've checked it briefly, not 100 % sure..

Regards,
Dejan

Hi Dejan,
Thanks for your reply. I will also try to look into detail. But could you please show me some example LESProperties and fvSchemes and fvSolution file that you used with dynOneEqEddy model.

Regards,
Awais

Hi once again.
Just check the channelFoam tutorial >> channel395 case. I use the same LESProperties, fvSchemes and fvSolution. The only difference is that instead of oneEqEddy I usually use dynOneEqEddy. I tried to make some small changes but didn't see any big influence on the results.
