Hello, I have a mesh in openFoam, I have the files: boundary, faces, neighbor, owner and points. Can I convert this files to .msh file compatible with gmsh? How Can I do this?
Thanks Best regards. Mattia |

Hello Mattia,
A Good Afternoon to you! As of now, there is no utility within the standard OpenFOAM ecosystem which converts a mesh from the native OpenFOAM format to a GMSH compatible format. A long time ago, I had written a utility which converts an OpenFOAM mesh to a format which can be imported into the meshing utility "Netgen". Theoretically, you can convert an OpenFOAM mesh to Netgen, open it using Netgen, and convert it from Netgen to GMSH.... I am not sure if I will be able to find the utility I wrote, but if you are interested in this relatively longer route, let me know, and I could search for the utility. Have a great weekend ahead!
