Begining with openfoam

Hi gays

i'm new with openfoam and now its installed at my pc and i can open only (in tutorials) the cavity exemple
my problem is: i will work in a porous media with chemical reaction so
can i use the prous simple case at tutorials and how can i open it with openfoam and see it at paraview

Hi there, I don´t understand your problem. Usually all tutorial cases contain an "allrun" file.
So, just open a new terminal (ctrl+alt+T), an point to (cd @youruser../tutorial/incompressible/porousSimpleFoam/Angled..
and type ./Allrun

the fact is when i open Openfoam i can't use anothers tutorial, only the first exemple wich i can open, the cavity one, so for my project i need to work about porous media with chemical reaction so can i use directely the tutorial for that directely with some modification ?

Are you sure that you install openFoam properly??
Open a new terminal and type:
which simpleFoam

You have to get something like this

/opt/openfoam200/platforms/linuxGccDPOpt/bin/simpleFoam

I suggest you to run the simplest cases available in the "run" directory. Like pitzdaily.. in incompressible/simpleFoam folder
