Different results in parallel/serial mode
 

Hello FOAMers,

a simple question:

i recently discovered that when I run a case in parallel and in serial mode, the results are not exactly the same. Why is that?
How can I avoid these errors in parallel mode (I assume the serial mode can be seen as a reference?), and how do they depend on the way i decompose the geometry?

I couldn't find anything about this topic in the forum, but if you know other threads that answer my question, links to these would also be appreciated.
